DOUG WALKER, Steel Drum Artist, brings the steel drum to the modern jazz stage. With influences of jazz, salsa, reggae and rhythm and blues, Doug’s sound is like no other. As a composer, Doug has the depth of a true master and as a performer his show never misses a beat. His latest project, Jazz Pan, is an exciting work of hard-hitting, fresh original compositions in the spirit of “Steps Ahead” and “Chick Corea.” Blended with his own unique style Doug truly captures the flavor of his home, Miami Beach. The band features Doug Walker on Steel Drums, Gary Mayone on Keyboard, Alfonso Cary and Javier Carrion on Bass, Dan Warner on Guitar, Matt Calderin on Drums and Jose Moreno on Cajon.
